Hailing from Leimert Park Los Angeles, Tru Sound brings a unique blend of cultural, spiritual, and street knowledge to the world of Hip Hop. At 17, He is 4 projects in, having just released SYNCHRONICITY 2, and continues to shine light on anything he can. Whether it be managing the HOMIES ONLY collective or throwing his LOCCO LINGO Showcases, Tru is on a never ending grind to leave an impact on his generation. Speaking for the youth with every record, with a purpose of enlightening those he reaches through his music, he brings a “new age waistcoats” vibe to the table. Aside from recording, producing, or otherwise writing poetry and song, you can find Tru performing DJ sets at your local parties or off on photoshoot excursions throughout LA, but no matter what it is, he always brings a unique flavor to the table.
