About Death of a Poet
Formed in 2010, Death of a Poet began their relentless assault on Cincinnati and is now comprised of 6 band members who are dedicated to creating and playing the most melodic, yet utterly brutal music for fans all over the world to sink their teeth into. "The Life And..." is the six song EP released in the Spring of 2012. With the release of their first full length album, "You Have Nothing to Lose But the World to Gain," on April 9th, 2013, Death of a Poet is hitting the stage all over the Cincinnati tri-state area as well as Lexington, Louisville, and Dayton areas to play music that you will enjoy hearing as much as they enjoy writing.
2020 welcome the release of their second full length album "Tragedies". This album highlights DOAP's core sound while simultaneously allowing each facet to explore and further redefine their genres.
