Operocia

Operocia is a group of 5 friends that grew up together in Northern California, USA. Chris Hunter (vocals/guitar) and Jeremy Hunter (drums) started playing music together as children, and in their high school years were joined by Michael Olson (bass) and Danny Marks (guitar). After some member changes and time apart, Mike Soria (keys) joined the band to round out the sound. Playing songs with melodic structures and heavy drum patterns, Operocia is an Indie Rock band from Northern California. For fans of: Thrice, Manchester Orchestra, Brand New and Deftones.

Operocia has played at many venues over the years, from small coffee shops to large bars and night clubs. Currently, Operocia is booked for their first festival appearance (The Asparagus Festival 2017). Operocia creates a high energy live show, with occasional costumes (see 2017 St. Patricks day greenman on their IG).

Operocia has released two EP’s “Parade of Colors EP” and “Operocia EP”, and the single “We All Fall Down”. These releases can be found on all major streaming services and webstores.

​ The band will begin recording their first full length album in May 2017, hoping to have a release late 2017 early 2018.
