KASHMERE CLUB

Kashmere Club was born on a stage in 2011. The Melbourne trio hungrily moved from South-West Victoria to the big city to chase that illusive feeling of "the best live gig ever" and share it with as many people as possible. Relentless gigging and a blind faith in the power of a live show, Billy and the boys released their debut EP (Roundabout Girl) to a surprisingly large crowd @ the Hi Fi Bar in 2011. Recorded at Hot House Studios (Franz Ferdinand, Oasis) the folk and blues infused debut was well received and the EP featured across PBS, 3RRR and SYN radio in Melbourne and the film clip to the single, 'Blood Runs Dry' received play on RAGE. Since their first release, the trio have further cemented their place in the live scene, including slots with Bonjah, Stonefield and a spot on the bill alongside the Cat Empire, Loon Lake and Oh Mercy at this years St Kilda Festival. In July 2013 they toured their ‘Lost & Sound’ EP which was recorded at Red Door Sounds in Collingwood, produced by Chris Cheney of The Living End, mixed by Paul ‘Woody’ Annison(Hunting Grounds/Children Collide) and mastered by William Bowden (Gotye).
