About Palindrome

Late 2009 a creative Band named Palindrome presented their first Album „Profit vs. WoMankind“ in the established Porgy & Bess in Vienna. Since then the six musicians prog themselves right into the hearts of the european Prog auditorium. While playing on the stages of Europe they trimmed their style and present now their new EP that enriches the Progscene in a melodic and tricky way. Palindromes lyrics are contemporary art, they are fast and seek perfection in their symbiosis with the wild and loud music. Palindrome shows how music of the 21st century sounds like. The band specifies with the new EP "bundle these last scattered synapses" their music: they went from the experimental Artrock of the last years to a matured, dodgy mathematical rock sound, which leaves after their energetic shows comments like “they rocked our faces off!!!“. They are compared to challenging bands like The Mars Volta, Primus, Meshuggah or Motorpsycho and these bands give also inspiration to the “progalicious multitudes“. The Viennese musicians seek for regional and international cooperation: they played and play with bands such as The Memorials (US), State Radio (US), Panzerballet (DE), Meniscus (AU), Special Providence (HU), Appleseed (PL), The Skys (LT), Requinox (N), ... But they also perform their shows together with Austrian bands such as Passive Attack, Propella, Milk+, Mother’s Cake, Phi, Lausch and many more friends of good ProgRock.
