About Sarob

Ohio-born and bred, Sarob is known for his ability to write verses with a poetic punch and deliver them with an equally potent proficiency. Drawing inspiration from D'Angelo, Maxwell and Common, Sarob embodies the skill of a legendary MC meshed with the freshness of a neo-soul musician exploring new styles and sounds.

Sarob made his commercial debut summer 2017 with 'Seeing in the Dark' — an EP illustrating his journey into the unknown worlds of adulthood and the music industry.

On stage, Sarob has supported the likes of Super Duper Kyle, King Chip, Curren$y, Phony Ppl, Asher Roth, and Gosh Pith.

Music, Sarob says, is his public service. In telling personal stories and speaking on sociopolitical issues, Sarob hopes to empower people and "be a source of social good."

Sarob is currently writing, composing, and producing his follow up to 'Seeing in the Dark'.
