Alternova began as a 5 piece modern rock/metal covers band. After a handful of festivals this year and now a 4 piece with a more refined sound and fronted by powerful female vocals, the band are venturing into writing their own original material. Alternova is inspired by the likes of Black Label Society, Shinedown, Alter Bridge, Halestorm and Lacuna Coil to name a few.
