They evolved into The Charmels in 1966, Shirley being replaced by Eula Jean Rivers and the group being augmented with Barbara Mc Coy. They recorded before 1961 on Sound Stage Seven as The Dixiebelles (via Stax Records website).The Charmels - As Long As I Got You was covered by Wu-Tang Clan
