Jah’Mila is a hidden gem from the Maritimes! The pipes and range of her voice were impressive . Crazy talent!! How she embraces her Jamaican roots was heart-warming…. and not only can she sing, she can dance! I hope I find her performing next time I’m there.

Jah’Mila has a commanding stage presence. She’s charming, eloquent and has a sensational voice. She connects superbly well with her audience. The band was strong and tight executing beautiful arrangements with ease. Lovely elements of light jazz and R&B to enrich her reggae. She is the voice of reggae right now. Strong song writing makes her a must- see performer. Wonderful evening. I can’t recommend
her highly enough.

About Jah'Mila
Meet Jah’Mila, Juno-nominated reggae singer hailing from Kingston, Jamaica, who now calls Atlantic Canada home. A beacon for Jamaican music and culture in the Maritimes, Jah’Mila's music embodies the spirit of traditional Jamaican roots, infused with jazz and soul. Her journey has led her to share stages with renowned reggae musicians like The Wailers, Black Uhuru, and Groundation, and she has also collaborated with the National Arts Centre Orchestra, Toronto Symphony Orchestra and the Symphony Nova Scotia honing her skills as a vocalist and a cultural reggae ambassador along the way.
Her Juno nominated debut album, "Roots Girl," released in 2022, is a spirited collection of reggae soul songs that not only honor her cultural roots, but also serves as a platform for social advocacy. Through her music, she champions a vision of a more inclusive, diverse and supported arts community.
With the unwavering support of her musical team, Jah’Mila stands poised to light up every stage, continuing to captivate hearts and inspire minds all across the world!
