Epic! It had been over a decade since Zao toured the west coast, and over a decade since I ever saw them back in the midwest. Been waiting for this moment for a long time and the guys delivered; they still destroy!

It was in the Underground and it was amazing. Probably about the 5th time I have seen them and they never disappoint! Got to hang out with them after and they signed my Smash Your Face shirt I just bought at the merch table. Saw them at Cornerstone 2001 also.

No class is a great venue, and Zao brought their best as usual. All the openers were also great.

Sound quality was a bit muddy so it was hard to discern certain songs. But hey, Zao are legendary and I really wanted to see them so it was still worth it.

They were a li'l rusty but, hey...I think we're ALL a li'l bit rusty; STILL tryin' to shake off everything covid-related, the fentanyl epidemic, the Ukraine & Russia "love fest," Trump, Biden, pronouns, etc, etc, et. ce. te. ra. aaaaand... y'know, just the overall filth, degradation and nihilism that is rampant throughout (at the very least) the U.S. SO: I won't fault Zao for bein' a li'l rusty. By and large, I had a good time...I mean, a reeeaaally good time. Especially since it was a Thursday night and the venue was a fantastic place to see 'em. Hopefully they'll be back sooner than "20 million years," as the singer, Dan Weyandt, put it. Indeed. That would be quite loverly. Thank you, Zao, and godspeed...🤘🏻

Zao ripped it up, they were so tight. Other bands were good and heavy too. However there were some crowd killing assholes in the pit, and when you're chilling down on some edibles that shit throws you off.

Just beautiful seeing these gentleman still…after all this time. Absolutely amazing.

One of the best Zao shows I’ve ever been to.

Been a fan for 20+ years and it’s the first time I finally got to see them. They didn’t disappoint. Good hardcore vibes without sloppy and over aggressive dancing. Venue has top notch fair bartenders. All around solid night. Thoughtcrimes was also fabulous. High energy. Ears are still ringing. 🤘

The show was amazing. A couple of good opening acts (in particular Maranatha), but Zao stole the show. Dan's vocals were amazing. The whole band kicked ass. If you haven't been to a Zao show you are really missing out.
