Cody Fry

What’s an amazing show! Cody is such a talented composer and musical artist, and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra brought his and other beautiful pieces to life in a gorgeous, cozy venue. I look forward to seeing him next time he’s in town!

Amazing show! The orchestral backing in the music—especially live—made it so magical. Cody Fry and Ben Rector were fantastic! They were comedic and sung beautifully. They had the crowd sing at certain parts and did bits, it was relaxed as far as a symphony goes and it was absolutely lovely. I Hear a Symphony is one of my favorite songs and it certainly did not disappoint, as the music swelled I had to close my eyes to just feel the music. For anyone who is a fan of theirs or simply enjoys the orchestra, go to their show! It’s money well spent.

Absolutely the most wonderful experience I’ve ever had. My friends and I are looking at their other shows throughout this year so we can watch and listen again. Stunning.

It was the best concert I’ve ever been to. The acoustics were great even from behind the symphony. It was a wonderful experience and I would recommend it to tons of people. They interacted with the audience wonderfully and it was an engaging and enjoyable experience.

There are no words. A dream come true. It was such a great concert, and I was so sad when it ended. Flew all the way from SLC to Denver to see it!

It was amazing!! Cody balanced engaging interactions and beautiful music perfectly. I can’t count how many times we laughed and cheered when he talked to us. Even though I was sitting in the very back, he didn’t forget to say hi to us in there, in the very back rows. I brought one of my newer friends who had never heard Cody’s songs, and he was impressed. I loved that he had the audience sing for Eleanor Rigby, too, and when I played it in the car ride home, my friend sang along. All in all, a very fun, engaging, and soul feeding experience.

Absolutely amazing! I think Cody was more excited that we were there than all of us combined. The orchestra, conductor, and Steve were splendid. Will defenitely go see him again when given the chance!!

Great show. Great venue. Friendly staff. Friendly valet (we prepaid and were glad we did). Fry was quite the entertainer, but he never commanded the audience, he just connected. Enrico Lopez-Yanez was brilliant with the ISO. I also feel confident in stating that everyone loved Steve. Oh, and now several want to go visit the White Rabbit.

Cody Fry is an absolutely brilliant artist. Not only is he an incredible singer (he sounds the exact same live and on his albums) but his orchestral writings are sensational. I would recommend a Cody Fry concert to anyone!

Most underrated artist of our time. The venue was awesome and the music was out of this world. Thank you for a wonderful memory with my daughter!

Beautiful experience! Definitely a night to remember! Such talented musicians, and of course the amazing Cody Fry. His voice was AMAZING in person along with his playing.

I'm a professional musician and I can't remember the last time I saw a show I enjoyed musically so much. Nice venue as well. Already bought my tickets for February in CO (haven't told my wife yet though.. :-O)

The set list was stacked!!! Cody was phenomenal and it was a dream come to true to hear him-he’s a musical genius. My only complaint was that the orchestra needed to show that they enjoyed performing with him more. Cmon guys! Cody is incredible! It was truly an amazing amazing concert. Thanks for bringing symphonic music back to center stage. Hands down 10000x better than Taylor Swift!!!!!!

He is a God. Mastermimd with music. Everything is beautiful and moving. He us kind and seems so thankful for everyone who showed up and is a great entertainer between songs.

What a phenomenal show! The venue was beautiful, the Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra was just extraordinary, and so was Cody Fry! The tickets were a gift for our daughter, who introduced us to the artist, and we absolutely enjoyed it just as much as she did! The staff at the venue were so friendly and helpful, overall it was such a wonderful night.

He seemed to be very thankful and gracious as any hard working performer who is able to post bills by playing music. Appreciative of his musical upbringing. He singled out the music teachers in the audience, which I thought was excellent. Classical orchestral pieces with movie soundtracks and his own music was excellent. I never thought I'd hear la la Land, Harry Potter and Gustav holtz Mars at the same concert. Let alone his amazing arrangements and music. I would see him again for sure

An unforgettable experience that I'll keep my entire life. So thankful to the brilliant performers and the venue. I hope I get to see another performance by the two, together or separate.

Cody is an amazing entertainer, and pushed through multiple interruptions with class. Whether audio issues that needed to be solved, to an NCAA basketball game that everyone attending was thinking about in the back of their minds. He made the night one to remember! Extra thanks to The Open Chord for being a gracious venue!
