Kinoo

Go to Groningen and you will find a city of equal distance to the cosmos and the tiniest of encounters. Look further, and you might discover Kinoo, a bunch of sappy romantics completely at peace with this distance. From here, they have the perfect window to a chaotic world that is only recently theirs. A window they love to shape and decorate with a mix of krautrock, post-punk and shoegaze. In doing so, Kinoo sounds like your moped went all emotional on you; motoric, sometimes awkwardly noisey, but always melodically packed. In their relatively short-lived existence they have supported bands like Ultimate Painting, Beverly and Eerie Wanda and have played at Incubate & ES/NS. Kinoo has released a number of video clips and a first EP in December ’16. Kinoo sounds like your moped went all emotional on you; motoric, sometimes awkwardly noisey, but always melodically packed.
