About Grid Squid Entertainment
With origins in New Orleans, LA , this Central Texas collective of artists includes founding members AK-1 and Symmatree, as well as Faylita Hicks, CA the Commoner and Joy. As a collective they have hosted over 30+ monthly Hip Hop events in the cities of Austin, San Marcos, San Antonio and New Orleans. Since their official formation in 2013, they have toured 15+ states, 34+ cities, participated in over 8 festivals and opened up for popular underground touring acts such as Blueprint, Illogic, Abstract Rude, Kota the Friend and Count Bass D.
