About The Employment
THE EMPLOYMENT is a Somis, California Alternative Rock Band formed in 2016 featuring the talents of lead singer/lead guitarist Chris Traylor and bassist/Moog Matt DeMartini. At the end of 2016, Blake, Free and Alex joined forces with The Employment to produce a truly spectacular live show experience.
Chris and Matt have been writing and performing alternative rock music together in bands since 2011. Performing over 500 shows live in high profile venues and also on live TV. They have been blessed to produce one of the first ever live action narrative 360 degree music videos for their original song "New Generation" which went on to win the award for best in music VR at Digital Hollywood in their other project GALVANIZED SOULS.
Chris and Matt formed THE EMPLOYMENT and together with drummer David Allen, they released their debut album "Anxiety" in the summer of 2016.
Ken Andrews, co-founder and lead singer of the highly influential alternative rock band FAILURE is THE EMPLOYMENT's producer, engineer and mixer for this debut project.
Ken Andrews has also worked on projects with NINE INCH NAILS, PARAMORE, BECK, M83, A PERFECT CIRCLE to name just a few.
