Liquid Shadows Entertainment was founded in 2006 by Daniel O'Brien as a booking agency whose goal was to create a positive environment for bands to perform live on Long Island and to fight against the pay-to-play policy that has become the norm on Long Island.

Since then, the company has added many new services including artist management by Daniel O'Brien and an independent record label called One Alliance Records.
