Mr. Mustache

Mr. Mustache formed in early 2011 after singers/songwriters Anthony Aparo and Jacob Chisenhall began writing and recording folk-inspired pop songs. The two sought to expand upon what they had been working on and recruited Jack Wucher (upright bass) and Jordan Tumlin (guitar) to help fill out the songs and broaden the band’s sonic pallet. After performing steadily in and around McDonough, Georgia, the band began recording their first full-length album, Broken-Hearted Dance. The album was recorded in Anthony’s bedroom and mixed at Studio 1093 in Athens by Richard Salino and Patrick Ferguson of veteran Athens punk outfit, Five-Eight. Broken-Hearted Dance was released in late February of 2012 and details the hardships of love through young and often misunderstood eyes. Mr. Mustache will tour this summer to promote Broken-Hearted Dance and plans on recording a four-song EP to be released in the winter of 2012. EXTINCT
