It was really fun. It took a bit longer than expected before it actually started, but once it got going it was awesome. There was also a bit of struggle in getting the sound quality to be good, however everyone was nice and the songs were a blast.

Rootz Within promotes positivity, community & personal growth through relatable lyrics & catchy hooks. Delivered with their signature easy-going island style, they combine elements of rock, funk, and jamband-like improvisation with a smooth reggae foundation.
Based in Minnesota, Rootz Within evolved into a full-time project in 2016 and has quickly become a rising star in the Big Island & Midwest music and festival scenes. They've performed across 9 states (HI, OR, WA, ID, MT, ND, MN, WI, & IA) including two tours on Hawaii & Maui islands and another to the Pacific Northwest. Inspired by their time in Hawaii, Rootz Within's debut album, Aloha Aina, was released in summer 2017 and is available across multiple online streaming platforms. Their second album, recorded at world-renowned Pachyderm Recording Studio, releases June 30, 2022.
