About Full Devil Jacket

A band formed by Michael Reeves and Keith Foster wanted to start a project in 1993. Josh Brown, and Kevin Bebout were hired. Later, after the band started playing in some clubs, then Jonathan Montoya who lived with Bebout at the time, joined as the Second Guitarist. They made 2 independent albums before they were chosen as the band for Jackson, TN. They played at the Tampa Livestock Festival in 1997. Referred by Island/Def Jam Records they signed to them. They played at Woodstock '99 shortly after they released their first EP called A Wax Box.. In October of 1999.

They had a video featured on MTV the same year for the song "Stain". On March 7, 2000 they released their self entitled debut "Full Devil Jacket" which quickly went gold. They were featured in the Tattoo On Earth Tour with Creed, Mudvayne, Slipknot, Sepultura, Slayer, and Coal Chamber with Metallica headlining one show. Their song "Wanna Be Martyr" was put on the Scream 3 soundtrack in 2000, while "Green Iron Fist" (released April 2000) made MTV's Heavy Metal 2000.

In March of 2001 the band was supposed to be flying to L.A. to start recording their second album. In total the band had 4 albums done, the 2 independent ones before Island Rec. came along, and the Ep, and Lp.

After splitting up, members of Full Devil Jacket moved on to bands Day of Fire and american idol contestant Chris Daughtry's band Daughtry.
