Reaching Revery

Reaching Revery, a hard rock band with a progressive twist, was formed by members Phil Berger (guitarist), Tin Nguyen (bassist), and Jordan Henry (drummer). As of March 2016, the band announced, vocalist and front man, Joe Murphy from Melbourne, Australia, and Keyboardist and candy connoisseur Drew McFarlane, Combining all of the elements of their varying influences, Reaching Revery makes every effort to create a live show that can be described as powerful, sincere, and emotional. The band draws from a wide range of potent sounds that can be identified in bands like Porcupine Tree, Alter Bridge, RUSH, Led Zeppelin, and Queen, just to name a few. It took just under a year to form Reaching Revery, followed by their first full length album recorded at Ardent Studios in October of 2015. A notable accomplishment, given the group had only been together for such a short time prior to entering the studio. The CD, entitled "Fearless," features 75 minutes of music, including a 30 minute epic movement called: "We Won't Be Replaced." Keyboards heard on all songs are credited to the talented John Clancy. Reaching Revery has shared the stage with many accomplished artists, including Dug Pinnick of the Texas Poundation, and Bridgid Bibbens of Tran-Siberian Orchestra. The band has had the privilege to perform at the popular South By South West music festival in Austin, and continue to play many shows, all while working tirelessly on perfecting both progressive and new music. Reaching Revery pushes the boundaries of music to captivate and create the emotional connection between the band and its audience. "Music, as many people have said, is the universal language.
