About Thought Crime
1. There are three bands here. One is the dark, heavy Thought Crime from Richmond, California. They broke up in 2004.
2. Then there's Thought Crime from LA, a melodic rap-metal outfit who formed in the early 2000's and have an EP that came out in Summer 2008. They play shows and sell merchandise under the Thought Crime name.
3. The other is Thought Crime from Brooklyn. This is the confederacy of drunks that rose from the ashes of Distraught in the late 90's to terrorize the east coast (and parts of greater London) with straight-ahead teeth-grinding punk rock fury. Members used to be in Suicidal Supermarket Trolleys, MDC, Virulent Strain, and a bunch of other bands like that there. It's fast, loud, and pissed-off. Recorded at Don Fury's in a stupor, Thought Crime's full length "It's All In Yer Head" is still spinning at bars and gigs all over the world, years after the fact. For the right amount of booze, they still tour.
