Ahoy! We are CHUGBOAT, a high energy, five-piece folk-funk act hailing from the salty shores of sunny San Diego. With influences in Bluegrass, Classic Rock & Calypso and original music chronicling both nautical adventure and life’s simple pleasures, CHUGBOAT brings a positive vibe that keeps the good times going full steam ahead. Formed in 2015, CHUGBOAT has performed at popular venues such as San Diego’s Music Box, 710 Beach Club and Winston’s and at prestigious events such as the 2016 Surf Rodeo Festival and Coronado Brewing Company’s 20th Anniversary celebration.
