Shevils er tilbake med et album som fillerister deg fra AAAH til ÅH! På sin nye plate "The White Sea" strammer bandet skruestikka noen solide hakk fra det kritikerroste albumet «Lost In Tartarus» (2013), en plate som scoret yatzy i både femmere og seksere fra anmeldere verden over. Dette er lyden av et band som sementerer sin plass i spissen av en norsk hardcorescene som er bedre enn noensinne. Shevils er kjent for sine intense og eksplosive konserter. Hardcorebandet besitter en fasinerende karisma og har spilt med blant annet Kvelertak, Shining og Buzzcocks. Opplev bandet før det er for sent. With access to medical equipment as well as technology not yet known to the human race, this four-piece hardcore outfit has for many years been experimenting with musical immunotherapy to cure the earthlings inability to dance and enjoy hard-hitting music. Skepticism towards music within the harder branch of what is not really known as the popular music industry, like any other skepticism, currently has no known cure. But Shevils have conducted clinical trials of doctor-supervised immunotherapy, in which humans with no love for hard music have been forced increasingly amounts of Scandinavian hardcore and American hard rock with everything from Norwegian jazz to tunes inspired by whatever neverbeforeheardof indie act as topping. These injections have been done in order to desensitize the humans to the skepticism towards hard-hitting music. At the end of the trial, patients were asked to listen to the latest release by Shevils entitled «Lost in Tartarus» every day for the rest of their lives. Treating this skepticism with musical immunotherapy has proven to change the DNA of the patient’s music cells to enjoy the intense tunes that Shevils delivers as well as move their body (also known as dancing) non-stop to music they never before have found intriguing. One must therefore conclude with the fact that this experiment has been nothing but successful. «Lost in Tartarus» is praised and highly acclaimed by almost every angry hearted music critic known outside the monstrous solar system. Shevils are in addition well-known for blowing away any audience when playing live, providing the audience with a shock treatment of the largely developed and long tested immunotherapy methodology. As this medical experiment continues one may definitely expect the bands fan base to spread as a virus throughout the human race. So how can this be? In other words, everything reaches outside the solar system and melts into the humans predictions on life and their behavior. This is the kind of astounding depth and complexity that explains the nature of Shevils. A band that reaches beyond the solar system in both weirdness and awesomeness by changing the musical taste of many earthlings through advanced immunotherapy. For many years everyday people have looked up to the night sky: studying it, looking for constellations, or just enjoying its beauty. What humans don´t understand is that it is exactly their DNA that explains the predictions of their earthly behavior and they are therefore all lost in Tartarus. Numberless years ago, Native Americans looked up to the night sky to figure out when to hunt and fish. Today, people open up their newspaper to read their daily horoscope in order to figure out what is going to happen, while browsing whatever music streaming service to find new music to enjoy.
