Akina McKenzie, born 1990 in L.A. (USA), is a Singer/Songwriter and has lived in Switzerland for over 15 years. She has experienced a great deal in life for her young age, which created the foundation of her love towards Blues and Soulmusic.
She takes the Blues and she cooks with it! The talented musician uses the main ingredients of Soul and Jazz and spices it up with a pinch of Gospel and Classical Music. Her unique style translates melodies into musical delicacies.
