Beats At Breakfast

It’s 7 o’clock, normally people slowly wake up now, drink a cup of coffee, eat some BREAKFAST. I’m also present at that table. Physically, people make strange gestures at me. I don’t understand a thing of what they say. In my head, I’m still at that party from yesterday. Thinking of what I’ve done (except drinking too much). I remember some names of persons I’ve met and also those BEATS. Real good electronic BEATS! I couldn’t let them go. Even on my way home. They kept playing over and over, again and again. Constant replay, one big loop. They followed me through the silence of the city, bouncing in my head, smashing my brains. When I finally came home, opened the door, drunk a glass of water and took some painkillers. My mum stood up: “Right in time for BREAKFAST”. Now I’m sitting at that table. With those BEATS in my head, With those BEATS AT BREAKFAST! So you thought you could sleep at night ?!
