Recent times has seen Darka become a staple on the Manchester scene as events co-ordinator for grime focused club night BPM (big people music) and Dancehall & Tropical night 'Overproof'. Alongside his residency for The Murkage Club he can also be found representing at the notorious 90′s hip hop nights that span the UK, Work it! and Juicy. Embedded within the music industry for a 5 years, Darka has spent time creating content for BBC Introducing, writing for various online magazines and working for the brand All About Good Music, Interviewing the likes of Labrinth, Professor Green and Ed Sheeran. His combination of bad boy DJ Style and hypnotic charm resinates through the airwaves of North West previously representing heavily on Unity Radio and can now be heard on BeatWolf Radio (Wednesday 10pm-12am).
