Drawing on their love of drum and bass, dubstep, hiphop and jazz, their 7 piece live show is a perfectly constructed and passionately executed journey through these styles. Pulsating synths and tasteful delays meet live drums and acoustic pianos, overlaid by mesmerising vocals and emphatic inner city sax. The show is performed 100% live, without the need for a backing track: real instruments in real time to create real movement. With an impressive number of shows under their belt including Glastonbury, Lovebox and club venues across the UK, supporting Submotion Orchestra, Goldie and Jazzsteppa, Double Drop have been thrilling audiences since 2010. Featuring a diverse array of talented musicians who all met at the London Centre of Contemporary Music whilst studying for performance degrees, their self-titled 'Double Drop EP' released in 2012 has attracted positive comments from all sorts of corners. 2014 promises big things including a single release and a full UK tour.
