About Leila Jane & The Healers
Leila embraces the magic of the Delta Blues and combines it with sweet sounding tones of 50's rock n’ roll and country music. Her songs are dreamy and heartfelt. Her raw lyrics display a deep emotional intelligence rarely found in someone of her age. After a performance at the Cambridge Folk Festival her voice was described as ‘’somewhere between Janis Joplin and Sandy Denny’’. Last year she received the Imelda May Scholarship to study in Dublin at ‘the Uk and Europe’s most connected music college’, BIMM.
