Jerry Marotta is a world renowned drummer. As well as a multi-instrument musician, producer and composer.
Best known as Peter Gabriel‘s drummer from 1977-1986. But those 10 years with Peter barely scratch the surface of Jerry’s resume.
Prior to joining Peter Gabriel’s band, Jerry drummed on the 1976 smash hit single “Still the One” by Orleans. This would be the first of many hit singles that Jerry’s percussive drumming style would grace.
In addition, Jerry recorded and performed with Hall & Oats, The Indigo Girls, Paul McCartney, Sarah McLachlan, Tears for Fears, Elvis Costello, Warren Zevon, and John Mayer.
