About BODALIA

At just 22, Bodalia has already made serious tracks onto the international electronic dance music scene. Having claimed victory in the ‘Mazda Drives: The Sound of Tomorrow’ DJ competition for his unique, high energy and captivating sound, Bodalia was selected by hit-phenomenon Lost Frequencies and Tomorrowland representatives to perform on the iconic Mazda Island at Tomorrowland 2016.

Besides his international success, Bodalia is also developing a rapidly growing presence across the UK. This year he headlined at Vale Festival as well hosting the mainstages at Starfields and Pangaea Festival, playing alongside artists such as Hannah Wants, Ella Eyre, Fuse ODG, Cheat Codes and prominent DJ’s including Michael Calfan, S.P.Y and Phillip George.

Having harnessed a passion for music since his youth, Bodalia has developed as an exceptional multi-instrumentalist on the piano, saxophone, clarinet and the guitar. He is talented producer, with releases on Sony Music, Ministry of Sound and Ultra Music under his belt, and many more in the pipeline.

These successes have brought Bodalia into the media spotlight, with regular features on BBC Introducing and BBC Asian Network. In June 2017, he was invited by DJ Charlesy to perform an exclusive 25 minute mix on prime-time Saturday night Capital XTRA radio. As well as having a dedicated article written by Your EDM, a world-leading dance blog with a reach of almost 3 million, Bodalia’s story has been covered by writers across the globe.

Bodalia is also the Director of New Street Records, the UK’s fastest growing student record label, with branches in major cities across the country. His work at the label was recognised by former British Prime Minister David Cameron who presented him with the ‘Points of Light’ award for helping aspiring student artists to reach their full potential. As well as running sell-out events with companies such as Spotify and O2, the label has also been featured on Capital FM, BBC Radio and television.

Aside from music, Bodalia studies medicine at the University of Birmingham. His story as a student, DJ and entrepreneur has been documented in the book ‘Uni Lifehacks’.
