"Caroline Scruggs' original music acts as a life-spanning, ear catching autobiography. Her lyrics span from the heavier open-ended questions that come with being human & the stigma of mental illness, to the little everyday parts of life that may just matter the most (like the existential wonderings of cows & dogs). Whether balancing weighty subjects with the lightness of a banjolele strum or setting purely giddy words to a heartstring-pulling melody, Caroline's music has found a rhythm that is honest and unashamed.

Her instrumentation is a reflection of her curiosity for the world around her - you will hear theremin, piano, kazoo, toy piano, and banjolele in her music, often looped with her voice with a pedal, all of which she plays herself in her solo show."
