Hiber

Chicago's own Hiber is a brand new pop-rock band, nodding to influences in electronic music, indie rock and R&B. The group's name plays off the inevitable hibernation of Windy City-dwellers every winter. This year, Hiber opted instead for a studio den filled with frenetic creativity, emerging with a project that is the vision of frontman and primary songwriter Danny Surico (Chicago's The Future Laureates - US top 10 alternative rock specialty radio). Performing live as Hiber, Surico is backed by an extremely strong supporting cast, including bassist Theodore Berry IV of Krystal Metcalfe and post-punk soul outfit, JC Brooks & the Uptown Sound (Bloodshot Records); drummer Dan Lieber of Latin/Afrobeat collective, ESSO and formerly of Lovers in Arms; along with guitarist Evan Pinter of indie rock band, Glam Camp. Producer Yoo Soo Kim propels Hiber's movement from the studio to their first EP release tour this spring!
