After being incarcerated for much of 2018, Kyle Erickson spent a couple years just trying to get by. On probation; working in asbestos abatement, waiting tables, delivering newspapers, and all kinds of other odd jobs; he thought there had to be more he could offer. Today, reformed and asking for a second chance, Kyle Erickson uses his past to create a show unlike any other with music inspired by classic rock, blues, and old country music to ask the question: what if everybody got a second chance? Erickson’s talent for lyric writing and stage presence are unmatched and need to be seen to be believed in venues such as City Winery, Blue Portland and more. You might have seen him supporting bands like LANCO, Kylie Morgan, Mike Doughty and others all over the country connecting to audiences through a vision of understanding and hope even in what seems like absolute darkness.
