Dr Monika Demmler

Dr Monika Demmler (PhD) is a Berlin/Los Angeles based composer. In 2023 she was joined by the Kiss Collectors Justino Polimeni (Arthur Lee's Love, Sky Saxon's Seeds) James Rowe (Gentleman of Leisure, Sawhorse) and Dan Collins (Kind Hearts & Coronets, The Shakes). Her latest release (2022) is Princess - a feline mix of krautrock, shoegaze, punk.

With over hundreds of gigs to date, “the excellent fronted-female Stony Sugarskull” (Mojo Mag) has been touring the UK, US and all over Europe, performed in livestreams such as the Mondo Art & Tech Con NYC, collaborated with Ben Ellis (bassist of Iggy Pop, live sound engineer of Wet Leg), Leron Thomas (composer of Iggy Pop’s Free), film director Judith Jerome (Golden Remi award winner - same as Steven Spielberg), Thomas Stern (Einstürzende Neubauten, Nick Cave), Mark Reeder (B-Movie, New Order), Franz Bargmann (Michael Rother/Neu!), Warren Cuccurullo (Duran Duran), et al.
