BRIGHTSIDE was born in a small studio on Electric Avenue in Venice Beach CA. The band has branded their unique sound “Venice Beach Roots”, a cross between West African Pop, Caribbean Reggae, American Rock & Roll, and the streets of Venice Beach. Fans across the U.S. have been moved by their positive message and high-energy performances.

Brightside’s live shows take listeners on a musical journey, celebrating the power of love, and the richness of the human spirit. Their songs deliver deep grooves and catchy melodic hooks, seamlessly weaved together to present music with depth, soul, and purpose.

Brightside has already shared the stage with great acts, such as Michael Franti & Spearhead, Rebelution, Brett Dennen, Nahko & Medicine For The People, Matisyahu, Everclear, Ozomatli, G-Love, Trevor Hall, Nikka Costa, and Donavon Frankenreiter.

In the summer of 2016, Brightside released the single “Wirly Girly” from their upcoming full length album, "Days Of Miracles", which will be released in early 2018.
