About Go Tiger Go
Go Tiger Go combines a blend of sun-kissed indie rock, with a grittiness that stems from its Detroit roots. Formed in 2009, the group has gone through a line-up shuffle, now settling on what they believe to be their winning combination. GTG draws influence from bands like The Black Keys and The Von Bondies, while channeling today's underground indie stars like Oberhofer and Walk The Moon. Combined with an energy filled live show and a contagious fun, GTG simply wants to put on a show where both they and their fans can have fun and vibe out to some good music. Their music has been featured on 88.5 KCSN with Julie Slater, and Andrew McMahon’s (Something Corporate, Jack’s Mannequin) “Best Of” playlist. Locally, they have been featured by The CW50’s Detroit Proud Playlist, and in Hip In Detroit. Their debut EP, Eating Berries In The Dark, is now available on digitally on SoundCloud and Bandcamp. sun-kissed indie rock
