Iron Maiden

Mein erstes mal Maiden live. Die Messlatte lag sehr hoch nach dem, was man über die Liveperformance hört und dann auch noch eine Jubiläumstour! Leider blieben sie hinter den Erwartungen zurück. Das liegt aber definitiv auch an der Location. Die Akkustik in der Arena war katastrophal und hinter der FoS-Area stand brillanterweise ein Tor, welches uns sehr geschickt die Sicht auf 2/3 der Bühne versperrte. Wir 'genossen' die Show über einen der Bildschirme. Pro: Nach jedem Song wechselnde und sehr schön gemachte Bühnenbilder, Bruce wirft sich in passende Fummel und ist noch wirklich agil für sein Alter.

We were led to believe our tickets included the VIP Trooper package because we were seated in the VIP Trooper section. However, we did not have the Trooper package and were a bit disappointed to learn this after entering the VIP section. Being on the right side of the stage, we did not get the view of the screen behind the band. Venue should have ensured that the rear screen was synched up with a couple of screens to show the whole crowd what was behind the band. We flew internationally to be in Madrid for the show. Iron Maiden performed spectacularly.

Maiden were amazing. The epic stage visuals with a tight, thunderous sound set the whole atmosphere with the castle in view. Every member was brilliant and you wouldn't have known that this band is 50 years on the go by their energy. Maiden never disappointed the crowd, who sang along to every lyric, note and harmony played. Bruce joked, 'we'll see you in another 50 years or sooner...' Hopefully they'll be back soon and when they do, don't miss them. Iron Maiden are masters of their craft. If you miss them well you better Run For Your Life!🤘🏻

Iron Maiden were fantastic. However, the venue, coop live, despite being purpose built for gigs, is terrible. No dedicated queuing space meant zigzagging up and down outside between temporary barriers in the rain. Queues for gents toilets were 40 to 50 deep outside the toilets, nevermind inside. Queues for bars almost as bad. I've been to better facilitated gigs at temporary venues - including Prague Letňany airport for Iron Maiden early June which had 60,000 attendees, rather than 25,000 at coop live - and they do a much better job. I won't go to coop live again!

+ Amazing set + Roughly 2 hour set + Iron Maidens on stage energy brings bands 20 years to shame + The pyrotechnics were amazing + Really cool animated backdrops + The 2 Eddie appearances + The Show was great I was supposed to see Maiden in my early teens in 90's but for some reason it didn't come to be. But two days ago I finally got to see them and it was one of the best shows of my life! I've read comments from other people about the crowd being dead. That must have been further back! Where I was standing right up by the stage and as far as I could see in any direction the crowd was energetic and into it! Maiden themselves were on fire! Que se puede decir de la más icónica banda de heavy metal de todos los tiempos! Fue mi sexto recital con la Doncella, y se sintió distinto a todos los demás, ya que el escenario no era de los que nos tienen acostumbrados, (igualmente de lo mejor) pero con escasa pirotecnia y mucho más sencillo. Ver a todos sus integrantes ya mayorcitos, da la pauta que pueden llegar a flaquear... ¡¡Nada más lejano a la realidad, siguen aplastando al público tema tras tema!! que debo decir que fueron en su mayoría temas poco tocados en vivo o algunos por primera vez como el mítico Alexander the great. Fueron dos horas épicas! con emociones de ambos bandos tanto del público que no paraba de vitorear y aplaudir a los ojos llorosos de Bruce ante tamaña demostración de afecto de los fans! Realmente siguen siendo la banda para mi más completa, compleja, variada y sin comparación de la musica moderna heavy metal... ¡¡Espero al nuevo recital que prometen dar en unos años como el mejor de la Historia de La Doncella de Hierro!!

Im sad and happy at the same time. I had to wait 38 years to be able to watch Maiden live, how ironic the name of the tour!! The stadium was sold out, Maiden played songs from both their Somewhere in Time album, the latest Zentjutsu and they also played some other classics from other albums like Fear of the Dark, Iron Maiden, Number of the Beast, Seventh Son of a Seventh son, and for the grand finale, they closed with Wasted Years. The highlights of the night was the appearance of 3 Eddies, the bounty hunter version, the cybord version, who entered into a shootout with Bruce with some pyrotechnics and last but not least Samurai Eddie, who went chasing after Steve. One of the best experiences for 2024 for me.

You know the band is loved when you look around and 90% of the shirts are the band you're there to see. When you go to an Iron Maiden show, that's exactly what you see. Everyone (10% are just nutts 😉) is wearing the same thing AND singing the words to every song. Not bad for a band that has never had a "hit," and they told the rock and roll hall of fame to F-off they wouldn't show up if they did put them in. Last night's show in Charlotte NC was sold out (like they all are). Bands today wish they had the 10% not in the Maiden shirts 1😁😁😁

Venue was pretty well organized a lot of waiting before doors opened and once in more waiting till The seats were available once in they gave Plastic Cups for your drinks before sitting over all a pretty professional experience considering the language barrier from French and English for a Major Arena sold out show 18000 the Opening Band The HU Rocked out well Iron Maiden was amazing they hardly skipped a beat very well tuned in Videotron centre Sounds Great for concerts very nice modern facility ! It’s not Centre to Old Quebec but would be wise to find closer accommodation as cabs / Uber Increase during shows if you Attend a concert or hockey game! Concert experience was a 10/10 just dident like the inflated cab prices it’s a memory I’ll hold on to forever Thanks Iron Maiden for the Memories and staff at the arena for the experience!

At 16 years old listening to Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, Budgie, I was a huge Metal fan. When I heard Prowler for the first time, my ears perked up. By the time Phantom started, I was hooked, for life. I’ve seen Maiden many over the years. Being a fan of White Spirit, I was really excited to see Gers join the band. Since then, the band continues to impress. Hearing Iron Maiden and The Trooper was awesome. Gers, Murray, Smith, Nicko, and Steve still have it. Bruce, not so much, sad to say

Probably my 10-12th time seeing them from 15 to 40/years later at 55, phenomenal to this day Bruce,S vocals amazing, Steve Harris lyrics is just an added bonus, Dave Murray who guitars are awesome ( I caught his sweat bracelet in front row back in Piece of mind tour). I have to say how to you fit in all their songs, I was not familiar with the first new songs but understand they need new material. Wished for Power Slave, Rhyme of , the ancient Mariner, etc… Bruce was wearing casual cargo pants, he didn’t go into costume changes like previous gigs getting into character but loved his clothing. Eddie still rocking it, what about him is not to love.

While it was expectable that the Westfalenhalle would produce some sound issues - as most of these big venues do - my first criticism would be on the mix: way too harsh in the upper mids, ear bleeding emphasize. That all combined with processing Dickinson's voice with what sounded like massive compression. The bass though was hard to hear / distinguish at all - something which is not forgivable with Maiden. Guitars were all center and hot as hell, also they were missing some lower end, leaving just the drumkit for the fundament. (and hey, I was right in front of the sound desk, that should be one of the best sound spots in any venue...) Coming to the show & music. While the show itself was real fun to watch, with some gimicks that were entertaining, such as the battle between Dickinson and the alien beast, the selection of songs seemed more focused on avoiding too many staples, leaving it partly difficult for the occasional Maiden listener to identify. Which in itself would be not an issue, but combined with the sound issues made it difficult to connect with what happened. I had the impression that the audience felt same overall, it was not that enthusiastic as I would have expected, rather lame, so that the "encore" (which of course is not an encore, but simply a planned part of the show) felt somewhat like "unrequested". It was not a particularly bad show, I have seen far worse stuff, but given the reputation, expectation and ticket price, it was underwhelming.

Simply amazing! Fantastic show, great sound and amazing atmosphere. Maiden were at their best, have they discovered the secret of eternal youth? :) They’re so good, I’m still rocking after last night, and I can’t wait for them to be back so I can go and see them again. They brought back so many memories from my teenage years in the 80’s, what a fantastic period. Emotional at times, definitely funny with Bruce’s shenanigans between songs and not only, the concert was a rollercoaster in time with great music from the past and equally great music from the latest album Senjutsu. Thank you Iron Maiden!

What can I say that hasent been said before about Maiden, they always deliver insane live shows and live up to the hype! Amazing setlist, having 3 new songs open the concert then play the old hits, the only one I didn't know was blood brothers but I really liked that song! Then having 2 encores with aces high being the last song was perfection! This band is so legendary that whenever they come to Seattle they sell out the place, Maiden fans are die hard, so am I and I will continue to see them if they play here again!🤘🤘🤘

This was my 16th Iron Maiden show since 1985. It was great as usual. I really hate to say this, but the lads are finally starting to show their age. Bruce’s voice sounded strong, but it had a weird tone to it I’ve never heard before. Nicko is 70 and still bangin’ the kit, but many of the songs are played at a noticeably slower tempo. The set list was good, but the new album isn’t my favorite so I could’ve done without those songs. At this point, they should really just be playing their greatest hits, and maybe even some deeper cuts from the older albums. there’s also a song or two that has been on every set list for the past 30 years, and I’d be happy if they dropped those in favor of some deeper cuts. all in all, a pretty killer show. They may have lost a half step due to age, but they still put on a better live show than 90% of the bands out there.

The Show? I don't Know-how! The area was cancelled from Mercedes Benz Arena to Cannstatter Wasen. The accoustik was Great, but we didn't have a chance to See the Stage. The Stage was to low and to small for that Area. The Monitors were to little and on a Low position. And the lighttower was in front of the stage. So we couldn't see the monitor on the left side. A lot of people weren't amused about that situation. We paid a lot of money and couldn't see the stage and the monitors. But the band was great as ever. Petra and Uwe

The concert itself was fantastic. A friend if mine that came with had never heard of Ghost before and was really blown away by them. Great performance and I look forward to seeing them play live again, someday. Iron Maiden was incredible. The whole time they were on stage I kept thinking these are masters plying their craft and how fortunate I was to witness it. A good mix of new and old songs had they crowd really into their set. The rest had to do with the AT&T Center, itself. There were issues as soon as I got there and it felt completely chaotic and unprofessionally run.I don't know what happened with the ticket system getting in but it was extremely confusing and no employees or representative took charge to help clarify things. Then, after being issued a ticket with NO SEAT INFO on it, the usher gave my friends and I a hard time when we tried getting to our seats. When we finally got in, after standing in 4 separate lines, the venue was uncomfortably warm 30 minutes onto the opening act. Getting to see Iron Maiden in concert has been a dream of mine for years and the experience of having it at the AT&T Center has in no way contributed to it. I'm very upset over how poorly managed this show was run and will seriously reconsider attending another at the AT&T Center.

What an amazing show ...as always⚒️⚒️.The slick playing and amazing energy from Bruce,Adrian,Dave,Janick,Steve and Nicko never ceases to amaze.From the very first note played to the very last it was spectacular in every aspect.The production,sound and lighting was breathtaking.To end this chapter of an amazing career with another sold out London show is no more than I have come to expect.Bruce's vocals were faultless and the guitar work from Mr Murray,Mr Smith,and Mr Gers was as usual absolutely awe inspiring,with the usual stunning solos and boundless energy,moving around the stage like teenagers.Then of course you have with that,the most amazing,powerful and mind blowing bass playing from arguably the best in the industry!!Last but not least,there are really no words to describe that most lovable Nicko McBrain,he is a fans favourite and he brings a smile to all that listen to him,he is faultless and a human being that you can't help but love.Wishing the boys a great tour of the US,I personally feel a loss when a tour is over.Roll on 2018...UP THE IRONS.⚒️⚒️⚒️⚒️

Took away half a star because Ghost was so underwhelming. Really wanted to like them, but they just didn't have the presence someone touring with Maiden should've, and they just didn't sound as cohesive as other professional bands do. And on that note, holy hell!! If Ghost was underwhelming, Iron Maiden was the complete opposite! Bruce sounded as good or better than classic live performances, everyone was energetic and in top form, and each member stood out in playing and personality. The set, outfits, props, and backdrops were spectacular, but it all enhanced the show; it didn't carry the show. The music itself stood on its own, and the visuals simply added more to the experience. Plus, Bruce is a riot. Got a kick out of him draping the flag on Janick while he was playing, as well as the monkey mask.

Not the biggest Iron Maiden fan in the world (but in honesty haven't given them a really good listen for a long time) and can genuinely say this was a fantastic concert! Warm up act, Shinedown, were absolutely great, and really enjoyable, as oppose to simply time consuming! Iron Maiden were brilliant, and I enjoyed every second. Loved the use to wacky props for story telling and the engagement with the audience was fabulous. Wonderful night (despite having unusual, and not brilliant seats: Block 220, Row Q) , would totally go again, Iron Maiden is a must!
