Hailing from Detroit Michigan, 29 year old singer/songwriter Leeann Louellen is undoubtably a rare talent and a true force to be reckoned with, here's why.. Raised in the heart of Motor City birthplace of legendary Motown Records, It was only a matter of time before Leeann was bitten by the music bug. Just like Dolly Partons song “Smokey Mountain Memories” about a time when it was popular for southerners to head north to Michigan for jobs in the automotive industry, Louellens family moved from the eastern Kentucky coal mines to the Detroit truck plant assembly lines. Raised on corn bread and country music, Leeann quickly became a product of her environment & grew fond of artists like Patsy Cline,Alison Krauss & Loretta Lynn which is evident the second she starts singing. Throughout the years Leeann has paid her dues, traveling across the U.S performing & has shared the stage with a wide range of artists any where from Ralph Stanley to B.J Thomas to Jamie O'neal, as well as recording and collaborating with famed artists,songwriters and hit-making producers from around the globe.
