DJ STUTTER

DJ Stutter (Chase Decraene) grew up in the suburbs of Atlanta and has been surrounded by all types of music his entire life. Growing up with a classical background in piano and the drums, DJ Stutter’s ear for music is what has driven him to the life of djing and song production. At 16, he started producing his own song tracks and began learning the in’s and out’s of the industry. His career in djing began shortly after high school when his cousin introduced him to mixing at a family reunion. While gaining experience at local bars, DJ Stutter moved into promotions for parties throughout the Atlanta area. It is here where he met many musicians who continue to inspire him toward his musical career. Keeping his ties to Atlanta, DJ Stutter moved to Milledgeville, Ga. to attend school at Georgia College. There, he began sharing his remixes and djing all types of events that required all different kinds of music. Through his ability to please all types of crowds, he landed a resident position at Capital City, a nightclub that hosts 500-600 guests nightly. Through his successes, DJ Stutter has got the opportunity to travel to college campuses across the state such as University of Georgia, Georgia Tech, Georgia Southern, and have Dj'd for Recording Artists Gorilla Zoe, Ying Yang Twins, and V.I.C. Though Djing, mostly Hip Hop/House, DJ Stutter loves to get his ear into all types of events.
