Mother Meadow

Originally from Bradenton, FL Sadie began writing and recording songs for Mother Meadow in 2015 and will begin releasing material this summer. Her songs blend folk and alternative styles, featuring narrative storytelling and covering a variety of topics. Sadie Frederick is originally from Bradenton, Florida. In her youth she was steeped in the various musical interests of her parents, including reggae, blues, zydeco, and rock. Spending countless hours by the Gulf of Mexico and exploring the nature of southwest Florida deeply influenced her worldview. While living in Jacksonville, Fl in her early 20s, she began to write songs and play music. In 2013 she began playing violin with indie-folk group This Frontier Needs Heroes. She has toured extensively with TFNH for the past three years, living almost full time on the road and playing 150+ show per year. After writing a collection of songs, she decided to form Mother Meadow and cut her teeth recording in The Glow Studio in Athens, GA. Mother Meadow is the newest musical endeavor of violinist/songwriter Sadie Frederick.
