About Blazing Eternity
Formed in Copenhagen, Denmark in 1993, by Peter Mesnickow, Morten Lybecker, Bilal Sarac and Lars Korsholm. Their initial musical direction placed them squarely in the European black/doom/gothic metal scene. The debut album “Times And Unknown Waters” was released by German Prophecy Productions in 2000, feat. new bassist Magnus Ringling and live guitarist Kim Larsen (Saturnus/Of The Wand & The Moon). The album “A World To Drown In” was released in 2003, introducing a new and softer sound. Both albums were produced by Markus Stock (Empyrium). After the release of their second album, the band slowly drifted apart. They reformed for 4 concerts in 2011. After years of silence, Blazing Eternity announced that a new album would be released in 2024.
The comeback album "A Certain End Of Everything" was released on April 19th 2024 via Mighty Music/SPV, receiving very positive reviews worldwide.
