Earl Bynum Music

Earl Bynum is an International recording artist, producer, radio host, music consultant and Executive Minister of Music. He directed The Mount Unity Choir to a streak of accolades harvesting some of music’s highest honors. Some of those honors included a 13-track CD/DVD produced by Bynum that debuted on Billboard Current Top 40 Gospel Albums Chart at #8 and boasted a Top 30 Gospel Radio single, “Bless The Name Of The Lord”. Other radio singles include “I Have No Doubt, and Psalms 117” The Mount Unity Choir under Earl Bynum’s direction were voted Steve Harvey's 2013 Neighborhood Awards BEST CHURCH CHOIR. They also received the Choir of the Year Award at the 2013 Gospel Blue Mic Awards and earned The Album of The Year title at the 2013 DMV Christian Music Awards.

Bynum is a five time Stellar Award Nominee that includes three 2014 Stellar Gospel Music Award nominations - Contemporary Choir of the Year, Choir of the Year and Recorded Packaging of The Year. One of those nominations turned into a win! Bynum and The Mount Unity Choir took home a 2014 Stellar Gospel Music Award for CONTEMPORARY CHOIR OF THE YEAR for their debut CD/DVD BISHOP K.W. BROWN PRESENTS EARL BYNUM AND THE MOUNT UNITY CHOIR LIVE. This Mount Unity Choir, through Bynum’s genius artistic leadership, is celebrated as one of the top church choirs in the country.

Bynum has a weekly national radio show on Musical Soulfood Radio Network called “On Stage with Earl Bynum”. The show airs, showcases and interview independent artist that may not other wise have a platform to be heard on a national level on over 35 plus markets. Bynum has been awarded Radio Announcer of the Year twice in the Virginia area and was also the recipient of the Horizon Award through GMWA – GAG 2005.

Currently, Bynum is the National Worship Leader for Gospel Heritage Worship Summit held February of each year; as well as worship leader for the prestigious Hampton University Ministers Conference. He is co – founder of the Independent Gospel Artist Alliance Conference (IGAA), and was recently appointed to the Board of Norfolk State University Spartan Legion Foundation.
