About Danniel-Odell
Danniel Odell was born in Medellin, Colombia with a unique curious about music, when he was a kid his family show him a lot of Latin rhythms, since then he decided to make music part of his life. He never saw a DJ before in his life but he start to listen to techno on the radio, he remember he used to listen to Mauro Picotto, Danilo Vigorito, Joy Kitikonti... among others.
Since that time he felt in love with the music, he start doing research, where it came from, who produces this type of music and in that moment he knew what a DJ can do, and that was it, he realize that he want to be a DJ for the rest of his life. He used to play music for his family, he put on his headphones and he started to play a show for his family, he just laugh when he remembered those days.
Officially he starts his career back in 2005 when he starts playing in small clubs and a few bars from friends, private parties... In 2006 he knows one of his best friends and colleague TacoMan, he was one of his motivators to keep pursuing his dream. They start playing in big local clubs like La Kasa, Carnival, Elektra, Oceania, among others.
At the end of 2007 he start to produce his own music, he start with raw sounds but it was a big step for his career. He bought his first console and an Axiom 25 keyboard. In 2009 another colleague and very good friend Deraout gave him the opportunity to be the opening DJ for one of the most representative techno DJs, Chris Liebing.
After that he start meeting new DJS and artist from the scene like John Aquaviva,in the middle of 2010 he launch his record label called STEAM CIRCUIT, 2012 he got his very first gig out of Colombia, he landed in Chile. His Chile tour was with his friend Deraout, they played in cities like Antofagasta, after that in a few clubs in Santiago and one of the best radio Cigarra.FM .
He have shared booth with SuperFlu, Aldo Foshino, Rodrigo Valvidia, Chris Liebing, Rodriguez JR, Jose M y TacoMan, Figueroa y Obando... and many more.
His most recent project is a showcase of his record label "STEAM CIRCUIT" at Mansion Club in Medellin.
