Ivan Panella

Born November 25 - 1987. Ivan Panella has been one of the forming members of the Italian Post hardcore/Metal band Hopes Die Last which he has been drumming for from 2005 till 2015. He started playing the drums at the age of 8 and by the age of 9 he was taking one to one lessons with Franco Bianco (drummer/percussionist) who has played in many bands, most recently for the infamous flamenco band “Los vivancos”. With a natural passion for fast paced music, Rock and even Classic Rock it wasn’t long before Ivan started playing in local bands, especially in his teen years covering styles such as Pop Punk, Rock and Metal. During this time he also partecipated in various musical activities that developed his style to what it is today. At present, his drumming can be heard on all of the records released by Hopes Die Last and he has recently collaborated with an Italian (Bass Player) Andrea Colicchia, to creat a unique project called Ivan Panella & TheBeanZ Band. This is an instrumental group, taking inspiration from ‘groove’, featuring a mix of genres ranging from Funk to Jazz and Jungle to Rock. He also collaborates with other artists, handling production duties, studio and live sessions, covering a wide range of musical styles such as Rock, Hip Hop, R&B and Electronic/Drum&Bass.
