Lucas Med DJ/Producer

Diversity. It’s a word that defines DJ Lucas Med. Born in 80s music started early on his life with a deep appreciation of Rock, Pop, Reggae, and Rap, Blues. Alternative and Electronica is which really caught his attention. At the age of 12 he wasn’t like other kids. When his friends were buying toys to play with, Lucas was already spending his cash on a cassette player, pair of speakers, and a stereo to throw on mixtapes for his friends. In 2005, Lucas’s DJ career took of in his hometown Goiania Brazil. That same year, he purchased his first turntables and took off to Prai do Rosa, a paradise on the South Coast of Brazil to play DJ sets at the sunset resort. Success was just on the horizon. Once in San Francisco he began investing in his career full time as music producer at SFSU. House, Tech House, and Minimal music contributed to his personal Baile Funk style. Since then, these genres of music have been his signature sounds on the dance floor. Lucas Med has been on deck at numerous top venues from San Francisco to Brazil and music festivals in between. Including the biggest Music and Art Festival in the world, Burning Man! Currently he is a key player at Temple Nightclub where he holds the position as Head of Artists Relations and one of its resident DJs. DJ Lucas Med, feels satisfied by getting the best music with more variety that are fine tuned for each and every dance floor.
