About Imagery Machine
Since their formation in 2015, San Diego band Imagery Machine has set the local music scene on fire. Their distinct style of female-fronted indie rock with undertones of reggae and progressive rock creates an intoxicating and dynamic sound. Described as being similar to The Cranberries, Florence + The Machine and Hirie, this troupe is fronted by the sultry voice of Jennie Lynn. Jennie and her husband Tyler (drums) are joined in the rhythm section by Victoria Argimon on bass with Adam Schumann rounding out the band on lead guitar. IM has garnished 5 total nominations at the San Diego Music Awards, and the band's song "Premium" was featured in a local Emmy-winning documentary "Shadow Of Drought", about the looming water crisis in California. The band’s energy and passion shine through their immersive live performances, which feature frenzied stage presences and addictive musical talent. Imagery Machine has captivated a wide range of audiences; from street fairs, farmers markets and beer festivals along the coast of California to San Diego mainstay rock clubs such as Belly Up, Casbah, Soda Bar, Kensington Club and House of Blues. This group of musical trailblazers is showing no sign of stopping, with big plans to release much more content in 2024.
