Destroy Boys

Went for destroy boys, but the opener, chokecherry also got so much of my attention!! both of them were amazing, it so happens that i knew chokecherry before destroy boys and i didn’t know they were opening, i ended up getting right up front and all in all it was a magical experience and i loved every second of it

Great show!! I still can't believe that I saw them live here in Colombia. Loved their stage presence, their powerful performances, their awesome sound and their crowd interactions. Tambien amé que hablaran y tocaran sus canciones en español. Can say that this is, without a doubt, one of the best gigs I've seen in my life.

IT WAS SOOO GREAT!!’ i loved the concert so much and i had the best time there. the people were so nice and the speeches Alexia gave were inspiring and gave me so much confidence!!! i really wish they’d come back here **!!

Awesome venue, awesome lineup, and amazing performances. My only critique was that an activist group was given full reign on the stage before Destroy Boys perform. Don't get me wrong, I fully support the group's work to help Palestinians. It's just that the militant way they riled up the crowd has in many cases over the last year led to anti-Semitic violence in my city from people who lack a sense of nuance, and who have equated Judaism with Israel as they get swept up in the Cause du Jour. Again, this isn't a criticism of the activists or their cause. It's a criticism of how they potentially spurred on people who are currently "on the bandwagon" of the cause. It definitely left me reading the room to see if I, as a Jew, was still safe in the room, and my friends watching me to see if we all needed to make a quiet exit. All this to say: if the performers, etc. were willing to just add a quick, "And btw, most Jews have nothing to do with Israel - yell at your local politicians but stop throwing Molotov cocktails at Jewish community centres" to their crowds during these speeches, it would go a long way to keep Jews safe in the cities they tour in. Again, AWESOME show, ceasefire now.

Venue was perfect size. Best/easiest parking I've ever seen in Detroit for a show. Good selection of restaurants near the venue. Destroy Boys were amazing! They sounded great. Very polished performance, they were engaging the crowd and made a huge impression and spread positive messages throughout the night. Would love to see them again!

Destroy Boys put on an epic show! Very inclusive and they simply rocked. Their stage presence was immaculate! I will see them again! Their opening bands Choke Cherry and Teen Mortgage were some of the best opening bands I’ve seen (other than Destroy Boys at the 2023 Pierce the Veil concert),

Phenomenal performance. This band has amazing stage presence and sound great live!! One of my all time favourite bands, getting to see all of the members was so cool. Hoping they come back soon! My only complaints would be about the merch. A CD was $30 CAD and they only accepted cash. The cash thing would be fine if they actually told you that was the case before waiting in line for quite a while. I’d suggest putting up a sign or something. Yes there was an ATM but by time we found out it was only cash, the merch line was already basically out the door. Other than that everything was perfect, and the openers were great too!!

Destroy Boys is essentially the greatest thing to hit the rock scene in 30 years - their records alone are legendary enough but their live act is a sight to be seen- absolute fire! Easily the GREATEST band of the 21st century! 5 stars? More like 100.

The band were an awesome live act, and talked about important issues. I also felt a part of the community as an LGBTQIA+ person, and the band also had great stage Prescence and banter which led to them performing an extra cover song

I don't listen to destroy boys often but this was the best concert I've been to by far!! The outfits and vibes were amazing. The venue was standing so I was a little tired by the end and it was slightly small, so ear plugs was a must. Very friendly staff

So sick. Literally everyone who performed did an incredible job. The energy was great. the music was great, and the crowd rocked. Destroy Boys even brought out a local grassroots organization that advocates for social causes like police accountability and Palestine. Awesome to see a band stick to their g**s and call for societal change.

I'm a new fan and have been eating up their music. I was stoked for the opportunity to see them in such an intimate venue. Honestly one of the best shows I've been to. The performance was spot on and we the crowd were living for it. Most audience participation I've ever seen. Thank you Destroy Boys and Doug Fir

11/10 would recommend! Band were awesome at engaging, encouraging & enthusing with the crowd, as well as actively appearing like they were absolutely loving life playing to us just as much as we appreciated them playing for us! Got to meet them after the set also, they were all so down to earth, lovely & friendly, which just put the Cherry on top of my whole experience! I’m still buzzing with happiness days later and feel so surreal that it happened now! I wish them all the luck with the rest of their tour, and hope they achieve everything they want on their journey’s as a band and as individual artists, they deserve it! X

Went to this concert for my birthday, I waited 5 years to see them live and it was well worth the wait. Only issue is that they didnt sell over a large in tees, but I sewn mine to fit. Overall, it made my birthday one of the best I've ever had.

I LOVED THE CONCERT SO SO MUCH THIS IS MY SECOND TIME SEEING DB 100000000000/10 THE ONLY THING WAS THE MOSH PIT AND ME AND MY SISTER WERE ALONE THE ENTIRE TIME SINCE MY DAD COULDNT GET BACK WITH US AND WE WERE SHOVED AND PUSHED RLLY HARD AND A CROWD SURFER NEARLY CRUSHED ME BUT I UNDERSTAND HOW DB CONCERTS GET 100% NORMAL SO OVERALL 10000000000/10

Took my young daughter, a friend with her young daughter for their first concerts. We all had a blast! Violet was awesome, Kat from Scowl was great. Both girls went to their last day of school with Scowl tees on and that's all they talked about.

Awesome show!! The band reminded everyone to "take care of themselves and be kind to each other." They genuinely seemed to have so much fun on stage and it was a treat to see them live!! They played a little encore at the end and just enjoyed themselves! It was cool to see Violet sing a few songs too! The mix made it a little hard to hear vocals and finer guitar details, but overall a high-energy, awesome experience!

Can’t fault the band, show and energy was awesome. Venue organisation and the sound was pretty poor. It took 40 minutes to flip the stage for the headliners, and the mix meant you could hardly hear the singers at all - especially the support. The show itself was awesome however and band definitely know how to keep a crowd engaged :)

this show was INSANE!!! I had a blast and made a couple new friends :). I experienced my first mosh pit and got to see my favorite band live! Unfortunately, I had to leave the show early though, so I couldnt stay for pangea which I was bummed about but other than that it was an amazing show! 6/5 stars!
