Ani DiFranco, Savoy Düsseldorf, June 18, 2025 It was a great concert and fine place for a venue like this. As Support: Gracie and Rachel. A two women Band, very good multiinstrumentalists and perfect singers from New York and the rigtheousbabe label. Their singing with different voices and octaves were excellent. Keyboards, a violin, a drummachine, sequencer and loops make their atmospheric music wonderful for every stressed people. Ani DiFranco was in a fine muood. She introduced her and her three man band with the sadly but true aspect: "We are refugees from the fascist states of america." A drummer, a standupbass- and keyboard- player and a guitar/steelguitarplayer arranged the songs as the had to be today and has to be in the past. Ani played a mixed setlist up from 1991 with her classic Hits like as is, Not a pretty Girl, gravel and new melodic material from the 2010th-2020th decades. She was thinking about singing a song from before 1991, like a child song about mosquitos: There where "so much laughter and so much fun". Sadly, after short one and a half hour Ani and her band ended up the concert. But it was full of good songs, nice and funny moments at all ! A very very good evening. B.M.

Amazing concert! A very nice opening duo, 30 minutes of rain and 30 minutes of waiting for the appropriate checks and then Ani in great shape with a fantastic setlist. Excellent musicians, I liked the choice of a pedal steel guitar. Very small defects, in my opinion, in the sound of the PA but the location is not acoustically optimal, however overall a more than good sound.

I was beyond excited to see Ani again as I have loved her music for many years. I have to say I was disappointed -- very! -- with this concert for a number of reasons: 1. I guess I missed the memo, or didn't fully understand, as I have been to many concerts at Revolution Hall and have always loved the venue, but this was SRO...not a good thing to have to stand for that many hours, and a lot of people walking in were shocked (and dismayed). 2. I wish, wish, wish that opening acts could start a bit earlier...Ani did not come on stage until 9pm which, sorry, is late for a lot of people, including me. 3. And...that would have all been worth it IF I could actually hear and understand Ani. As much as I respect and value the band, their music overwhelmed her voice and with new songs I truly could not understand her. So, all in all, sadly disappointing...

Everything was so great! The staff of the Bellwether were all so nice and smiley and helpful. This was my first time at this venue and I was really impressed. The sound and lighting was good. I am definitely going back ESPECIALLY if Ani is there!!

Zzzzzz best always! Nothing n Nobody like Ani! Thank you Thank you Thank you ps the restaurant WOKANO is terrific delicious sushi (I am very particular) n asian cuisine was very high quality w terrific options n quite pleasingly reasonable!

I have not seen her live since the late 90’s. What a wonderful place where the intelligent,, evolved and empowered females of the area gather in one place! I met 2 fantastic incredibly different equally intelligent and cool last night and I owe it all to the wonderful folk singer that saved my life so many years ago with her music. I kept getting goosebumps. The music is enjoyable,, thought provoking, and she only uses the good notes. Her voice is so beautiful and I love seeing the stand-up bass and last, but not least my favorite thing is her laugh and her voice so beautiful and she’s not afraid to use it.! Also she had the tbest merch ever!

It has been quite a few years since I was lucky enough to attend an Ani Difranco show. (around 14!) I have seen Ani Difranco in many venues in many cities, and over the 25 years, I have listened to her music. She gets better with age. She put on a fantastic performance with her bandmates. They were all in sync and vibing off one another. Joy Clark was a positively lovely addition; she is such a beautiful being with so much soul! The House of Blue Houston is an intimate venue doing the concert scene right. It was nice grabbing a bite to eat, a drink or two, and merch. The bathroom attendant in the women's restroom was so sweet and very helpful. I've attended shows in the main room and the Bronze Peacock, and they both feel so intimate and exclusive.

I love Ani! This was a deeply personal show for me. I got to attend soundcheck, and afterwards Ani came out and spoke to us. I had the opportunity to speak with her about Valarie Kaur’s concept of tending the wounds of your opponent. It was an amazing, healing journey for me, all these years later…

What a fantastic show! Ani at Washington's was the last event I attended before lockdown for COVID, so my first show back was incredible! Her guitar playing was amazing, especially during "Dilate!" And the vocals were perfection!!!! 25 years of seeing her live and every concert is better! Amazing!!!

I’ve seen Ani before and this time the sound was off, I going to say it’s the venue. Ani’s vocals and guitar just weren’t as strong as in the past. She acknowledged it and said “she didn’t know what to do about it”. Seemed like the PA system just wasn’t as good. She’s always great to see and puts on a great show.

After waiting out storms while jamming to Ani in our truck for a couple of hours, we were gifted with a most amazing concert! The energy was amazing. The venue is beautiful and the event staff was friendly and welcoming. Ani is always one of the most entertaining and talented performers, this show was no exception. Love, love, love! 💪🏻

I love Ani!!! This concert was certainly timely with the state of the world. The setlist was great. And I love when an artist shares new work. It is a special treat. One of my favorite venues in Portland Oregon. The crowd was very chatty which was a take a bad take away but that has nothing to do with the performance that Ani delivered.

Been seeing Ani since 2003 and she is always fantastic. Last night's show was really great and strongly heartfelt. She did nice cross section of songs including some stuff, old gems and of course some fan favorites. The thing I love about seeing Ani perform is you never know what it will get? A solo show, a full band, maybe some brass? Last night was Ani and her drummer Terrence Higgins. Fantastic Duo set!!! Ani is one of my favorite live guitar players just because of her style and her energy level. She is live and in motion the whole time. Ani ROCKS!

Ani DiFranco was amazing. She was passionate, energetic, friendly, happy, and having fun. She played so many good old songs. She kept her poise during interruptions and told stories. The sound quality and volume were perfect. The audience was excited and loving. It’s like when her fans congregate, we’re long lost family to each other. Ani DiFranco is an inspiration. This show was especially meaningful after reading her book.

I was blissfully happy-I came there alone, and i left by myself. Yet had the most amazingly fun and exciting experience!! Great great Great great great times infinity is how much I adore ani. ani is just an incredibly talented artist, both poetically and musically. I am so in awe Of her and feel so blessed to have had the chance to see her tour. I live in north carolina so she doesn’t come down here often. And i have kids so its hard for me to make the road trips. Anyway love you ani-all-keep smiling xo

From the start to the finish another amazing show. Have not seen Ani live in 20+ years, same incredible experience♧ random thought, I loved Ani's pants°○○° glad the drunk lady was removed so the rest of us could enjoy the show, thank Pabst Theater crew ♧

At this show I heard Ani play the best version of Joyful Girl I have ever heard her play. I’ve been seeing her play live since 1997 and heard Joyful Girl live at least 20 times. The version this night made the night. My only issue with the show was the 2 drunk women sitting behind me & my husband. They knew the “hits” which they sung at the top of their terrible voices. During songs they didn’t know they chatted loudly. They sucked as people. The staff at the Calvin we no help with these specimens.

Ani was fantastic. It is true she is "Not Angry Anymore". Shes a beatifully wise soul still laying down some truth. I have some new music to check by miss Chastity Brown, she could hold her own. I had great time!

Ani is always 5 stars (this venue had speakers turned too loud; bass made her vocals unintelligible and the best part was when they went unplugged and you could hear them. I have seen her at least 10 times and the sound quality at the Scottish Rite was disappointing.

Ani DiFranco was amazing last night! She played a good mix of older and newer songs. I was able to snag a setlist and get it signed by both Toshi and Ani! ? As an Ani fan for 15+ years this was the highlight of the night for me. She was so sweet. so memorable.
