From the moment Justin and Emily met at an open mic in Austin, TX, they knew they had a special connection. What started as a romantic relationship quickly blossomed into a musical career that the two dove into hand-in-hand. Justin’s iconic slide guitar adds another voice to the duo’s already rich and soulful harmonies. Whether you see them as a duo or with the full band, it’s hard to deny the chemistry that the two share on stage.

The Traveling Ones released their 2nd studio album titled Welcome to the Real World, Aug 2019. After relocating to Nashville at the end of 2017, Justin and Emily wrote and recorded their new album, while also touring and getting to know Music City. With inspiration spanning from their love story to current events, Welcome To The Real World is full of character and depth.

Their debut album, Meet Me There (2017), was voted as one of the top albums of the year (Daily Country) followed by their first national tour where they played in DC, New York, Atlanta, Nashville, Austin, Denver and surrounding areas. With shared influences that spans decades and genres (Bonnie Raitt, Norah Jones, The Black Crowes, Tedeschi Trucks Band, The Beatles) the duo’s music is more about heart than labels or boundaries.
