About Distant Creatures
Distant Creatures are a dream pop band based in Washington DC. They formed in the summer of 2015 by guitarists Chris and Dane who shared a love for English indie bands of the 80s and 90s. They were soon joined by Persian songstress Mina Karimi and rhythm section of Ben and Mike. In 2016 they released a debut single "Escape" through AGR / Custom Made Records. Soon after the band retreated to rural Virginia and began work on recording a full length album. In summer of 2017 their debut LP Snares in Safe Harbors was self released.
