About Switch Violet
Combining truly classic soul vocals, blues inspired riffs, and groove for days, Switch Violet have a fresh charm, whilst unashamedly standing on the shoulders of giants like Gary Clark Jr, John Mayer and Ben Harper. The super-tight 4-piece from Bath write perfectly crafted pop songs, and have brought their electrifying live show to venues across the south-west over the past year.
Made up of front man Ben Willingham, guitarist John Bicknell, bassist Ollie King and drummer Ryan Gillian, Switch Violet have a busy year planned. With plans for an EP in early 2017 and and UK tour planned for the spring, they also have their eyes on the festival scene.
